The Forum has become a premier platform for experts to present best practices
Dubai: The 10th edition of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) will kick off on Wednesday at Madinat Jumeirah.
With the theme "Sustainable Future," the event will bring together a distinguished group of global figures, thought leaders, heads of organisations, and leaders of major international project management firms. The event is being held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed the participation of key co-organisers: Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), DP World, Emaar Properties PJSC, and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, highlighted the success and growing global participation in the forum, noting that it has become a premier platform for experts from around the world to present best practices, share innovative ideas, and propose creative solutions in project management.
Pioneering experience
Al Tayer emphasised the importance of partnering with leading organisations in project management to meet the forum’s objectives. He also praised Dubai’s world-class approach to implementing strategic projects, including airports, mega ports, and iconic developments, which have set a global standard. He noted that the insights gained from the forum would be crucial in shaping future projects.
Global Platform
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, reiterated Dubai's role as a global leader in innovative mega-projects.
Al Tayer added that DEWA’s participation in the forum would showcase its expertise in renewable energy, particularly the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, the world’s largest solar park based on the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model. These initiatives align with Dubai's Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and its goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Founder of Emaar and Noon said the forum focuses on empowering leaders to deliver transformative projects that will benefit future generations.
Environmental conservation
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, highlighted the company’s commitment to world-class project management rooted in innovation and sustainability. He also noted DP World's strategic decision to relocate its global headquarters to Expo City Dubai, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable practices and global trade.
Exchanging insights
Pierre Le Manh, President and CEO of PMI, noted that the Dubai International Project Management Forum exemplifies how successful projects can create value for businesses, economies, and communities. He noted that the discussions at the forum will help broaden the vision of project management and drive improvements in outcomes.
Key Themes This year’s forum will explore critical topics such as sustainable project management, future cities, leadership strategies, customer-centricity, agile management, and the role of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and generative AI. It will also address key challenges in project management, including efficiency optimization, the circular economy, and remote project management.
