Red Crescent donates Dh33.85m for orphans in Sudan

Khartoum: The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) donated a cheque of Dh33.850 million to support 7,692 orphans living across Sudanese governorates. The cheque was delivered by Hamad Mohammad Humaid Al Junaibi, UAE ambassador to Sudan, in the presence of Osman Jaafar Abdullah, secretary-general of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, and other officials.

The donation comes as part of the #Year of Giving initiative.
