Gulf News became the first newspaper in the Middle East to evolve to the smaller and handier Berliner design. I can see more attention to typography and layout as well as care towards user experience. Bold and creative move, Gulf News team. Keep it up!

A pleasant surprise on Friday morning — it is so nice and handy. The era is of compact and Gulf News has struck gold with this. I have been reading Gulf News for the past 26 years, if I am not mistaken. This was very special. Gulf News is always the first to come up with new innovation and ideas. All the best.

Congratulations and best wishes to the entire editorial team of Gulf News for adopting the new compact format, which brings a refreshing look with enriched content. Indeed, it is more visually attractive and easy for a quick reference.

We are extremely happy to see several new additional sections catering to the tastes and interests of the readers. However, we place before you a request to keep more space for community reports and a page for updating the matters related with the new trends in education.

Congratulations! The new format gives Gulf News a great feel and appeal, the best part being the way you got it organised. One can avoid pulling out the pages to share — minor irritations of life in the mornings — I am just loving it!

Please accept my heartiest congratulations on bringing out the new page size of the news paper. It is more handy, manageable and compact. It is also in line with the trends of environmental and green concepts. You folks are always a trendsetter in the news print industry in the country in particular and the region in general.

New @gulf_news redesign looks sharp. Closer to tabloid size than broadsheet. Easy to handle. Good layout, fonts. Nice job, @AbdulHamidAhmad
