President in security talks with Jamali
President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali held a lengthy meeting yesterday on the political situation and law and order in the country, an official statement said.
They also discussed implementation of the government's reform agenda and other matters of national importance during the meeting, which lasted about four hours, the statement said. The meeting followed an incident in northwestern South Wazi-ristan tribal area near the border with Afghanistan on Saturday in which 13 people were killed and six injured in firing by personnel manning a check-post.
