The committee is now visiting Saudi Arabia to meet those children
Abu Dhabi: A special Interior Ministry committee tasked with looking into cases of children of UAE nationals born abroad to foreign mothers arrived in Riyadh as part of a tour of three Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The committee, which is chaired by Major General Nasser Al Menhali, assistant under-secretary, Interior Ministry, visited Oman and Qatar, and is now visiting Saudi Arabia to meet those children.
The three-nation trip is part of a programme to deepen the national identity of UAE children born abroad and help their integration into the UAE.
