One injured in fire in Discovery Garden

Dubai: One person was injured in a fire that broke out of at a construction site in Discovery Gardens on Monday morning.

A Dubai civil defence spokesperson said that the fire broke out at around 8.30am, and was under control by 9.07am.

The fire, which was near Ibn Battuta mall, was put out by teams from Al Quoz and Al Barsha stations.

The cause of the fire is yet to be identified.

The injured person was taken to the hospital for treatment.
