Mountaineer rescued after he falls and breaks bones
Ras Al Khaimah: The Air Wing of the RAK Police on Sunday rescued an Emirati mountaineer after he slipped and fell from a mountain in Dibba Al Fujairah.
Major Saeed Rashid Al Yamahi, who heads the Air Wing, said a helicopter rescue team saved the 27-year-old Emirati identified as A.A.A.
Maj Al Yamahi said the man was practising his hobby of mountaineering when he lost his balance and fell down a deep drop and broke several bones of his body.
The victim was taken in the helicopter to Saqr Hospital where he was admitted for treatment.
