Mohammad to send artist to Germany for treatment

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued instructions to send Emirati artist Sultan Al Sha'er for medical treatment to Germany as soon as possible.

Mohammad Ebrahim Al Shaibani, Head of Shaikh Mohammad's Court, said that the Vice-President had issued orders to make the arrangements to transfer Al Sha'er, who is currently receiving treatment at a Dubai hospital, to a major hospital in Germany.

Qadi Saeed Al Muroushed, Director General of Dubai Health Authority, commended Shaikh Mohammad's initiative, adding that the authority is coordinating with a specialised hospital in Germany to transfer Al Sha'er.

Al Muroushed said travel procedures would be completed in the next two days.
