Dubai: A minor earthquake measuring 2.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in Khor Fakkan on Tuesday, the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has confirmed.

The earthquake, recorded at 8.35pm UAE time, had a depth of 5 kilometres.

Its effects were slightly felt by the residents and without any effect in the UAE, the NCM added.
