Mandela to lecture at Sharjah university

Former South African President Nelson Mandela will give a lecture on "Education and Its Challenges" at the American University of Sharjah tomorrow. Mandela arrived on Wednesday on a private visit at the invitation of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.

A spokesman at the AUS said that Mandela would speak in the main auditorium at 7.30pm tomorrow and the event is open to the public.
