Man drowns in UAQ hotel swimming pool

Umm Al Quwain: A 25-year-old Chinese man died after drowning at a swimming pool in a hotel in Umm Al Quwain. He was with his family and friends when the incident happened.

Lieutenant Ahmad Rashid Al Ghawi, Director of Criminal and Investigation Department at UAQ Police, said the police operations room received a call on Saturday at about 12.30am. The man was pronounced dead at the pool.

He said the man was swimming with his family and friends, His family members said they did not notice that the man had drowned.
