Labourer trapped in a crane cabin rescued

Dubai: A labourer was saved after he was found unconscious in a crane cabin perched on the seventh floor of a building under construction.

The 27-year-old labourer, Sarwaz Mohammad, was trapped in the cabin.

The Control and Command Room of Dubai Police received a complaint about an unconscious person on the seventh floor of the building.

A team from the difficult missions arrived on the scene and rescued the labourer.

In another incident, the difficult missions team freed a person who got trapped in his car yesterday morning following a traffic accident.

The accident took place on Emirates Road. A truck rammed into another truck which hit a small car, whose driver got trapped in the car.

The difficult missions team freed the car driver who sustained moderate to serious injuries and was taken to a hospital by the Dubai Police Air Wing.
