Former Kerala Congress (M) MP and State President of the IFDP, P.C. Thomas has stated that the party is in talks with the BJP leadership on the issue of forging an alliance.
Thomas said the BJP's offer of support for the IFDP's proposed candidate in the bye-election for the Kaduthuruthy seat in Kottayam district Panchayat was a pointer towards such an alliance.
