Hospitals, medical centres adopt Ramadan times
The Ministry of Health has announced the Ramadan working hours for hospitals and medical centres nationwide.
In Abu Dhabi, two hospitals and six medical centres will be open to the public. The emergency unit of the Abu Dhabi Central hospital and Al Mafraq hospital will be open round the clock.
The Al Rawdah medical centre and the Jern Yafor centre will be open from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight. The Al Shahamah, Al Samha, and Al Ketem Al Sehy medical centres will be open 24 hours.
Dental clinics in both the Al Rawdah and Al Salam centres will open from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight. The central blood bank of Abu Dhabi will also be open 24 hours.
In Al Ain, the emergency units of two hospitals, Al Jemi and Al Tawam, will be open 24 hours. Polyclinics in remote areas will start work on the second day of Eid from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight.
In the Western medical region four hospitals will operate 24 hours: Madiant Zayed Hospital, Al Selaa Hospital, Gayathy Hospital and Delma Hospital. Other medical centres will admit emergency cases round the clock.
In Dubai, the Al Baraha hospital's emergency department will operate 24 hours and Hor Al Anz medical centre will open from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight.
In Sharjah, five hospitals, Al Kuwaiti and Al Kasemy, Al Zayed, Khor Fakan and Kalba will be open for emergencies 24 hours. The Al Sharjah medical centre will open from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight. The blood bank will be open 24 hours. In Ajman, the Sheikh Khalifa Hospital will be open 24 hours.

The Ajman, Masfoot and Al Manamah Medical Centres will work from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight.
In Umm Al Quwain, Umm Al Quwain hospital emergency will operate 24 hours. The medical centres - Umm Al Quwain, Al Kazan, Al Salmah and Al Raekah - will work from 9am to 2pm and 7pm to midnight.
In Ras Al Khaimah, three hospitals - Al Saqr, Seif bin Gobash and the emergency units of the Sham, will work 24 hours, as will the Ras Al Khaimah, Al Monai and Al Mamorah medical centres. But the Al Dekdakah medical centre will work only in the mornings from 9am to 2pm.
In Fujairah, two hospitals - Al Fujairah and Al Debaa - will be open 24 hours while three medical centres - Masafi, Al Badeyah and Marbah - will work from 9am to 2pm.
