Dubai: The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities donated Dh1.9 million to Dubai Health Authority’s Moussadah programme that provides free treatment to poor patients. Salem Bin Lahej, director of the Moussadah programme said the money will be spent for treatment of patients and the balance Dh 466,393 will be spent to help patients with breast cancer. Moussadah has helped provide treatment to patients from more than 40 nationalities. In 2012, the programme helped 317 patients and in 2013 more than 400 patients have benefited from this programme.
