Abu Dhabi: Forty high school students from across the UAE are now participating in an internship programme at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
The two-week programme at the private hospital is designed to develop the future of the UAE’s health-care sector. This year, 35 Emirati and five expatriate students have been chosen to work across 13 hospital departments, including medicine, pharmacy and nursing.
According to a statement sent by the hospital on Monday, the interns will have a chance to gain first-hand experience about medical profession in the UAE.
