Municipality found inadequate hygiene standards during checks

Abu Dhabi: Warnings have recently been issued to 12 salons in the capital for flouting public health and safety regulations, the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City announced in a statement sent today (September 24)

The violations were detected during a series of municipal checks on 63 men’s salons located in Bani Yas, Al Shawamekh, Al Nahda and Al Shamkha.

A Dh1,000 fine was imposed on violators, most of whom were not adhering to hygiene standards. The municipality added that it will continue regular inspections to ensure the safety of residents who use these facilities.
