UAE Public sector to be given four-day Eid holiday from October 25

Public sector will get a four-day holiday October 25 to Sunday, October 28, to mark Eid Al Adha

Dubai The Public sector will get a four-day holiday, from Thursday, October 25, to Sunday, October 28, to mark Eid Al Adha, it was announced Wednesday.

According to a circular issued by Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Authority of Human Resources, federal bodies and ministries will remain closed from from Thursday, October 25, to Sunday, October 28.

Work will resume on Monday, October 29.

Al Qutami congratulated President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and the UAE people and government. 

Private sector

The private sector will get a three day holiday to mark Eid Al Adha  from Thursday, October 25, to Saturday October 27.

Work will resume on Sunday, October 28.
