UAE participates in Speakers Conference

New York: The UAE has participated in the meetings of the Preparatory Committee of the fourth International Conference of Speakers of Parliaments, which began on Monday at the United Nations headquarters in New York under the theme ‘Placing democracy at the service of peace and sustainable development: Building the world the people want”.

Rashid Mohammad Al Shariqi, Representative of the Arab Group at the Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and a member of the UAE Parliamentary Division, participated in the meetings which continue till today (Wednesday).
