Somalia: Khalifa Foundation donates food

Abu Dhabi: The UAE Embassy in Sana'a has sent a shipment of urgent food assistance from Yemen to Somalia, donated by the Khalifa Bin Zayed Charity Foundation.

Abdullah Mattar Al Mazroui, UAE Ambassador in Sana'a, said more than 500 tonnes of food was sent from Yemen, to save time and energy. He said the Khalifa Foundation's rapid response was to meet the needs of Somali people in Ramadan.

The UAE envoy praised the Foundation's humanitarian efforts in various countries.
