Sharjah Ruler to inaugurate research laboratories at Cairo

Cairo: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Monday will inaugurate the new research laboratories at the College of Agriculture, Cairo University.

The laboratory complex was built at a cost of 18.4million Egyptian Pound, which was donated by the Ruler as part of developments to mark the centenary of Cairo University.

Dr Ali Najm, Dean of the College of Agriculture, said the Sharjah Ruler made this generous donation as an expression of loyalty to the college from where he graduated, adding that all those who have graduated from this prestigious college have largely contributed to the growth of agriculture in the Arab world.
