Shaikh Khalifa given a warm welcome

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan yesterday received His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who greeted him on his recovery and return to the UAE.

Shaikh Khalifa also received Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the emirates, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers and top officials.

Greeting Shaikh Khalifa were Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the emirates, Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, and Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain.

General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, also were present.

The President also received Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince; Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah; Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah; Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Al Mualla, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain; Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; and Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Khalifa was also greeted by Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), ministers, and members of the Executive Council.

They wished Shaikh Khalifa good health and prosperity.

Also present were Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Shaikh Saeed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative; Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region; shaikhs and senior officials.
