Dubai: The Quran memorising project launched by the Dar Al Ber project for women has held its first forum for volunteers under the theme of ‘I will make an initiative’.

The forum’s activities took place at Dar Al Ber Society headquarters in Dubai.

Moza Naseeb, the general supervisor of the memorisation centre for women, and Aisha Mubarak, deputy supervisor, participated in the forum along with more than 20 female volunteers.

Moza said that the forum’s programme included a presentation on the volunteer work and its importance, and a speech was delivered regarding the positive qualities of volunteer work and encouraging people to join.

A video presentation was also made regarding the community’s need for voluntary work that was followed by a discussion.
