Ministry signs deals with UK company

Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Interior signed two agreements with the British Ethos company to develop the complaint and suggestion system into an integrated information system that ensures transparency, justice and the privacy of complainants.

The first agreement provides for developing the complaint system, while the second one provides for the implementation of the tasks of mystery shoppers. The agreements were signed in line with the directives of Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Humaid Bin Dalmook Al Daheri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development at the ministry, underlined the importance of both agreements in implementing quality standards to cope with the rapid developments and changes witnessed worldwide.

"The agreements aim to firmly establish constructive cooperation between Police services and the public, provide quality services to the public and improve work environment circumstances," Lt Col Al Daheri said in a statement following the signing ceremony.

He referred to the ministry's serious endeavour to improve performance and implement the principles of quality and excellence in the service of customers in accordance with the best standards so as to gain the customer satisfaction and respect.

Lt Col Al Daheri said the first agreement provides for developing the policies and mechanisms of dealing with the complaint and suggestion system.
