Law on regulating Sharjah’s department

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Sunday issued a law regulating Sharjah’s Municipalities and Agricultural Affairs Department.

The Law No.1 of 2018 stipulates that the department is a legal entity that enjoys full independence to carry out its duties and activities in order to achieve its goals.

The law lists the responsibilities and objectives of the department, which include encouraging the private sector to adopt agricultural projects, improving agricultural development and other goals.
