Emirates Red Crescent distributes aid to 1,000 families in Mali

Bamako: Emirates Red Crescent has distributed food aid to more than 1,000 families in Mali on the occasion of Ramadan.

As part of the organisations’ iftar programme, quantities of food staples such as rice, sugar and oil were distributed under the supervision of Mohammad Saeed Al Taee, Charge d’Affairs at the UAE Embassy in Dakar.

Mali’s Finance Minister expressed his thanks to the UAE government, its people and the Emirates Red Crescent for their continuous efforts in aiding the underprivileged and displaced people in the African country.
