Motorists urged to exercise caution as wind could kick up dust, affecting visibility
Abu Dhabi: The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has urged motorists to exercise caution on Thursday as wind could kick up dust, causing poor horizontal visibility in some areas of the country.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the centre said it expected the UAE’s weather on Thursday to be hot to very hot in general during daytime and hazy at times. Temperatures might rise gradually. There could be light to moderate wind in general, freshening at times during daytime and may kick up dust/sand at times.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during night and early morning hours over some coastal and internal areas. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate, becoming rough at times in the Oman Sea, the statement added.
