Dubai: The northern Iranian coastline of the Arabian Gulf, once a hub of coexistence and shared prosperity among diverse communities, has been transformed by the Iranian regime into a platform for regional aggression, said Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President.

He said the area had historically been a space of connection among Arabs, Lurs, Persians and Baloch, where opportunities for a dignified life were closely linked to the prosperity of Gulf Arab countries.

However, he added that the Iranian regime had turned what was once a bridge for cooperation and development into a base for hostile actions against neighbouring states.

Drawing a contrast, Gargash said the UAE hosts an Iranian community, which is treated with respect and appreciation, reflecting a model founded on tolerance and the rule of law, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He said the distinction reflects a big difference between “a mindset that builds life, and another that sees destruction as the only path.”
