Fire hits Ajman shopping centre

Ajman: A huge fire broke out at shopping centre in Ajman on Sunday morning.

The fire erupted at Al Hout Supermarket at around 7am.

There were no reports of casualties. 

Firefighters from Ajman were still fighting the blaze. A plume of thick, black smoke could be seen billowing from the building.

"We immediately took the necessary measures to prevent the fire from spreading,” an official at Ajman Civil Defence told Gulf News. 

Ajman Civil Defence along with Ajman Police are working to control the movement of the traffic near the shopping centre.
