Filipino expat in Abu Dhabi wins Dh100,000 in UAE Lottery after girlfriend’s dream

Abu Dhabi: A Filipino expat working in Abu Dhabi has won Dh100,000 in the UAE Lottery.
What makes his win even more special is that his girlfriend had predicted it in a dream.

Arnold Joseph Aquino, who has been working as a radiographer at a hospital for about three years, was stunned when he discovered he had bagged the prize.

“I didn’t receive any notifications or anything,” Aquino recalled. “But when I opened my account on the UAE Lottery site, I saw the gold. And then I started like… I won Dh100,000!”

‘I saw it in my dream’

Aquino said his girlfriend had hinted at something special was going to happen even before the draw. “She didn’t tell me about the story before. She said: ‘I knew you are going to win’.”

His girlfriend revealed: “I saw it in my dreams. And then I had a feeling that he would win.”

‘God really has plans for everything’

She believes the moment was more than just luck.
“God really has plans for everything. So, when it’s the right time, then it’s the right time for you.”
