Dubai: Private schools in Dubai will open “as usual” Sunday onwards, in the same manner that was followed during the previous term, the Knowledge and Human Development (KHDA) tweeted on Wednesday.

“Thanks for your messages — private schools in Dubai are not affected by the recent announcement & will be open as ‘usual’ next week,” KHDA tweeted.

It follows today’s announcement that public and private schools in Abu Dhabi will have distance learning for the first two weeks of the second term, which starts on Sunday.

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Education had tweeted that public schools will have distance learning for the first two weeks of the new term.

Private schools in Dubai are offering a mix of in-person and online classes for those who wish to continue distance learning. All schools are currently closed for the winter break.
