Dubai Electricity and Water Authority wins environment award

Dubai: The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) received five-star certification in the field of environment conservation for the third consecutive year.

The certification was presented by the British Safety Council for 2014 to recognise Dewa’s efforts in adopting best practices in environment conservation.

The award adds to the ‘Award of Honour in the Global Environment’ received in 2012 and 2013. The award is presented to institutions of excellence around the world ifor adopting the highest environmental standards, policies and regulations.
