Video: Fire breaks out in apartment near Karama Park

Dubai: A minor fire that broke out in a residential building in Al Karama on Friday evening was swiftly brought under control by Dubai Civil Defence teams, with no injuries reported.

According to Dubai Civil Defence, the operations room received a report at 7.43pm about a fire in a building located behind Karachi Darbar restaurant in the Al Karama area. Al Karama Fire Station was immediately dispatched as the first responder.

Firefighters arrived at the scene within five minutes, at 7.47pm, and found that the blaze had originated in an advertising signboard belonging to a shop inside the building. Authorities described the incident as minor.

By 7.55pm, the on-site incident commander confirmed that the fire had been contained and placed under cooling operations, ensuring there was no risk of re-ignition. No injuries were reported.
