Abu Dhabi: The International Astronomy Centre Abu Dhabi announced that according to astronomical observations, Eid Al Fitr for Hijri year 1439 will be on Friday, June 15, in most Muslim countries.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the centre said that most Muslim countries will observe the Shawwal moon on Thursday, June 14, and that the crescent can be sighted on that day with the naked eye or by using a telescope if atmospheric conditions are clear.
