Sign up as a volunteer for DIFF

Are you a movie buff and you want access to the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF)? What better way to do it than volunteer? Interested? If you are, check out the requirements and job descriptions.

Who can join?

• College and university students at all levels and any nationality.
• You must be over the age of 15 and speak English well.
• Knowledge of other languages, especially Arabic, is highly valued.

Why should you volunteer?

• An opportunity to be involved in DIFF.
• You get access to festival screenings.
• You gain valuable experience in a professional environment.
• You receive a Certificate of Appreciation signed by the DIFF Chairman.
• You get an invitation to an exclusive post-festival staff party
• A wonderful networking opportunity.

What can you do during the DIFF?

• Help out in the offices prior to the event.
• Assist with Guest Relations at the airport and host hotels
• Usher patrons at the various screening venues
• Help coordinate guest transportation, to register delegates, and to perform office duties at the festival headquarters at Dubai Media City and at the Madinat Jumeirah.

How can I volunteer?

• Fill out the application form online. Log on to: www.dubaifilmfest.com
• Upon receipt of the application, you will be added to the database of possible volunteers.
• You will be notified by e-mail and instructed to attend the DIFF Volunteer Orientation Meeting in early November.
