Sharjah Ruler receives Education Minister Al Qutami

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday received Humaid Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, Minister of Education, and his delegation.

They discussed the Education Ministry’s programmes and changes made to school curricula, including correcting some historical information in line with Dr Shaikh Sultan’s phone call with the Direct Line Programme, which is aired live on Sharjah Radio and TV.

In his phone call, Dr Shaikh Sultan demanded the ministry correct some historical information about the region’s history.

Dr Shaikh Sultan discussed with Al Qutami achievements made by model schools as a result of cooperation between the ministry and Sharjah Educational Zone. Al Qutami thanked Dr Shaikh Sultan for his unlimited support for education and his constant endeavour to develop education in the UAE.
