New fellowship programme in neonatal medicine

Abu Dhabi: A new fellowship programme in neonatal medicine has been inaugurated at the Corniche Hospital in the capital, a statement sent by the hospital announced on Tuesday.

The programme, which was developed in collaboration with neonatologists from the Johns Hopkins Children’s Centre in the United States, aims to deliver specialised knowledge to Emirati physicians and allow them to become leaders of local neonatal critical care units.

It also represents a major step in the hospital’s plan to become the region’s premier teaching medical centre.
