IELTS tests now at UAE University

Dubai: UAE University now has an approved centre for the IELTS English language proficiency test on its Abu Dhabi and Al Ain campuses.

Students from other institutions can also sit for the test at the campuses.

An agreement was recently signed between the university and the British Council for the accreditation of the university’s Centre for Continuing Education to hold the tests. IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is now accepted by more than 9,000 organisations in 135 countries. Over 2,000,000 IELTS tests were taken in 2014.
