Abu Dhabi: In line with replacing old schools and adding new ones, the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) plans to open five new schools with full-fledged academic and staff facilities in the Western Region by next September, announced a circular sent by the Adec
Alongside well-equipped classrooms, each of the new schools will include facilities such as libraries, gyms, swimming pools, auditoriums, modern IT infrastructure and spacious greenery and landscape.
Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council visited the locations of the new schools and staffing facilities to be built in Delma Island, Sila'a, and Al Marfa'a in the Western Region (known as Al Gharbia in Arabic).
Al Khaili was accompanied by Mohammad Salem Al Daheri, Executive Director of School Operations at Adec; Engineer Hamad Al Daheri, Division Manager for Infrastructure and Facilities at Adec; and Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of Al Gharbia Educational Zone.
