Dubai: The telecom operator du will provide 3,000 people with iftar every day during Ramadan across the country, officials said. Eight tents will be set up at mosques in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.

"We know we have a responsibility towards this community," Osman Sultan, du Chief Executive, said at a press gathering.

The campaign, called "Little Things Matter", will offer activities at the corporate social responsibility level.

Other activities for Ramadan include an SMS challenge, where users can participate in a quiz and enjoy rewards of up to Dh5,500, as well as a grand prize that will be announced later in the month.

Mobile TV content will be made available in the form of episodes of TV shows and programmes.
