Stolen iron worth Dh700,000 seized, 8 arrested

Sharjah: Sharjah Police have busted a eight-member gang who allegedly broke into a warehouse and stole Dh700,000 worth of iron from the storage facility.

Sharjah Police recovered the stolen loot after learning that the arrested suspects included owners of scrap shops where the missing iron was later found. Police investigations revealed that the suspects had partners in another emirate. Police arrested all of them.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed to broking into the warehouse and stealing the iron. The suspects have been referred to the public prosecution for further action.
