Ras Al Khaimah: An Arab teenager was cleared of begging by the Ras Al Khaimah Misdemeanour Court on Sunday, a judiciary official at RAK court said.

The 18 year old had entered the country on a visit visa with her family.

Judge Fat’hi Al Qala’a said there was not enough evidence to find her guilty.

The teenager was arrested last month in the fish market after she was suspected of asking passers-by for money.
