Man stabbed to death in Sharjah brawl

Sharjah: The Sharjah Public Prosecution is investigating an incident which led to the death of an Asian man in the clock roundabout area during a brawl.

The incident took place after a number of Asians, both Indians and Pakistanis, got into a dispute. These included the victim and six others at the entrance of the victim’s apartment, Rashid Al Omrani, Attorney-General of Sharjah Prosecution, said.

He added that the suspects attacked the victim and stabbed him to death.

As soon as the police received a call reporting the incident from people in the same area who witnessed the crime, the victim was transferred to Al Kuwaiti Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, Al Omrani said.

Al Omrani pointed out that four of the suspects have been arrested and investigations are still on.
