Parent's tip-off leads to arrest of jobless man living in the UAE illegally

Ajman: Ajman Police have arrested a man for selling harmful substances to school students.

Ajman Police received information from an Emirati father who reported that his 14-year-old son told him that an Asian man asked him to sell tobacco products to his fellow students in exchange for a certain percentage of profit for sold products.

According to Colonel Saeed Humaid Nasser, head of the anti-narcotics department at Ajman Police, a taskforce to set up to trap the suspect who was later arrested.

Upon investigation, he was found to be jobless and living in the UAE illegally. A case is being made against him.

Colonel Nasser praised the student's parent for reporting the incident to the police.
