Man dies in car crash in Sharjah

Sharjah: A 37-year-old Indian man was killed after the car he was travelling in overturned on a road in Sharjah.

Emergency teams rushed to the scene shortly after the traffic police operations room received a call at around 7pm on Saturday about a vehicle that had overturned on Sharjah Industrial Road.

Preliminary traffic police investigations showed that the man died instantly after sustaining severe injuries.

The driver of the vehicle has been taken into custody by the police for questioning.
