Fifth suspect accused of possessing stolen laptops

Dubai: A gang of four has been accused of carrying out a night robbery after breaking into a clinic and stealing Dh5,000 in cash and two laptops.

Prosecutors accused the quartet, all Sri Lankan nationals, of using screwdrivers, gloves, masks and mobile phones with flashlight features when they carried out the heist in Bur Dubai.

A fifth suspect, also a Sri Lankan, was accused of possessing the two stolen laptops.

One of the suspects admitted to being involved in the crime before the Dubai Court of First Instance. The other suspects will be brought to court on August 12.
