Construction worker falls to death in Sharjah

Sharjah: A worker was killed after falling from an under-construction building in the Dibba Al Hisn area of Sharjah on Thursday, police said.

The Asian victim reportedly slipped while he was going about his routine work.

Workers at the site reported the incident to the police operations room.

The worker was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.

Police urged construction companies to ensure that all safety measures are in place at work sites.
