City Talk: Firewalls help parents breathe easy

The firewalls installed by Etisalat has had the desired impact on children.

It has not only barred children from exposure to 'adult' sites, but also brought in a sigh of relief for concerned parents who would like to keep a strict vigil on their kids when they are on the net.

Most of the people who spoke to Gulf News felt that firewalls protect teenagers who might otherwise abuse the facilities and become victims of Internet crimes.
