Cardiopulmonary resuscitation performed on accident victim
Abu Dhabi: The timely intervention of the Abu Dhabi Police Ambulance saved the life of a four-year-old Emirati child, who sustained serious injuries in a run-over accident.
The accident occurred at Al Reef Villas on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi.
The medical team performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and provided first aid before transferring the child toAl Rahba hospital.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Al Ameri, Head of the Emergency and Public Safety Department at the General Directorate of Central Operations, Abu Dhabi Police, said: “The timely arrival of the ambulance allowed the medical team to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the child within the first moments of a heart attack.”
