An outspoken voice against the abuse of minorities in Pakistan, Taseer invariably risks her life on an ongoing basis because of her work. A journalist by trade, she recently featured in Newsweek as one of the 150 most fearless women in the world, and fittingly so. Having taken up the cause from her assassinated father, she has utilised almost every medium and forum available to her in campaigning for tolerance and legislative reform of the misused blasphemy laws in Pakistan.
